This data forms the core of the mem[v] memory layer and is processed solely to provide the Services requested by users.
1.3 Connected Services Data
With explicit user authorization, mem[v] may access and store data from external services connected via OAuth or API credentials, including but not limited to:
Google Drive
Enterprise document systems
Cloud storage or productivity tools
Data from connected services is accessed and processed strictly in accordance with user instructions.
1.4 Technical & Operational Data
We collect technical and operational data necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Services, including:
Authentication and access logs
API and ingestion logs
Device, browser, and operating system information
System performance metrics
Usage diagnostics and security telemetry
This information is used to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
2. How We Use Information

Create and manage user accounts

Ingest and process video, audio, and documents
Generate structured memories, embeddings, and contextual insights

3.1 User-Uploaded Content
All content uploaded or ingested into mem[v]—including videos, audio, images, documents, and metadata—is processed solely to deliver the Services requested by the user.
3.2 Third-Party Integrations
Users may connect third-party platforms to import or sync data. Each integration requires:

OAuth authorization or API credentials
Compliance with the third party’s applicable policies
mem[v] processes third-party data strictly according to user direction.
3.3 AI Feature Processing
When users enable AI-powered features (such as transcription, summarization, or memory extraction), content may be processed by trusted third-party AI inference providers, including:
OpenAI
Google Gemini
Twelve Labs
Other approved inference partners (only if explicitly enabled)
Third-party processing occurs solely to fulfill user-requested functionality.
4. Data Security
4.1 Encryption

At rest: Encrypted using our infrastructure providers’ native encryption mechanisms
4.2 Infrastructure Providers
mem[v] relies on secure, industry-standard infrastructure partners, including:
Neo4j for graph-based storage and retrieval
Cloudflare for performance, security, and edge protection
Additional cloud compute and storage providers with appropriate safeguards
All providers are contractually required to maintain industry-standard security practices.
5. Information Disclosure
mem[v] does not sell or rent personal data.
Information may be disclosed only in the following circumstances:
To infrastructure providers necessary to operate the Services
To third-party AI processors when users enable AI features
To connected services explicitly authorized by users
When required by law, subpoena, or legal process
To protect the rights, safety, and integrity of mem[v]

6. Data Retention & Deletion
User data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Services
Users may delete content, memories, integrations, or entire accounts at any time
Disconnecting a third-party integration stops future data sync but does not automatically delete previously imported data unless requested
Users may request complete account deletion, which includes removal of stored data, subject to legal or security-related obligations
