2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts

  • Authenticate users and secure access

  • Ingest and process video, audio, and documents

  • Generate structured memories, embeddings, and contextual insights

3.1 User-Uploaded Content

All content uploaded or ingested into mem[v]—including videos, audio, images, documents, and metadata—is processed solely to deliver the Services requested by the user.

3.2 Third-Party Integrations

Users may connect third-party platforms to import or sync data. Each integration requires:

  • Explicit user consent

  • OAuth authorization or API credentials

  • Compliance with the third party’s applicable policies

mem[v] processes third-party data strictly according to user direction.

3.3 AI Feature Processing

When users enable AI-powered features (such as transcription, summarization, or memory extraction), content may be processed by trusted third-party AI inference providers, including:

  • OpenAI

  • Google Gemini

  • Twelve Labs

  • Other approved inference partners (only if explicitly enabled)

Third-party processing occurs solely to fulfill user-requested functionality.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • User data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Services

  • Users may delete content, memories, integrations, or entire accounts at any time

  • Disconnecting a third-party integration stops future data sync but does not automatically delete previously imported data unless requested

  • Users may request complete account deletion, which includes removal of stored data, subject to legal or security-related obligations

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
